Ali Murphy is a gifted pianist, singer, and songwriter from Lancaster, PA with a passion for great music. Since the age of nine, Ali has learned to play pretty much every genre of music from classical to jazz to pop. Her musical style is a mix of R&B and pop, with hints of rock. She recently graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with her B.M. in  Music Industry, and is now based in Nashville to pursue music full-time.

 

Ali just released her new single, "This Love."  The song is a bright, funky, feel-good pop track. It started out as just a little piano lick, and over the past year, it’s grown into a full production with glossy synths, tight grooves, and a confident, summery energy. It's all about that joyful feeling when someone totally lights you up. "This Love" is available now on all streaming platforms.

In 2022, Ali released her debut EP, A Long Time Coming. The EP features 5 original songs, all with catchy melodies and honest lyrics. Ali released her single "Blue T-Shirt," in 2024 which features the perfect blend of pop and rock. Fair warning - the melody will be stuck in your head for the next three days. Both projects are available on all platforms. 

Ali plays and entertains wherever and whenever she can. She's helped kick off Music for Everyone's Keys to the City program in Lancaster, has appeared three years in a row at the Launch Music Conference/Festival, and has had the honor to perform at The Bluebird Cafe since her move to Nashville. She's performed with many artists including John Splithoff, Jillian Dawn, M'Lynn, Orlando Mendes, and Alyce.

 

Ali has also started pursing her interest in music direction and arranging. She's music directed multiple productions for Prima Theatre in Lancaster, PA including The Music of Queen & Journey, Illumination, and 80s By Request.
