Ali Murphy is a gifted pianist, singer, and songwriter from Lancaster, PA with a passion for great music. Since the age of nine, Ali has learned to play pretty much every genre of music from classical to jazz to pop. Her musical style is a mix of R&B and pop, with hints of rock. She recently graduated from the Frost School of Music at the University of Miami with her B.M. in  Music Industry, and is now based in Nashville to pursue music full-time.

 

Ali just released her debut EP, A Long Time Coming. The EP features 5 original songs, all with catchy melodies and honest lyrics that will have you singing them for days to come. Ali is truly excited to finally share her original music with the world and can't wait for you to hear it. A Long Time Coming is available on all platforms now. 

Ali plays and entertains wherever and whenever she can. She currently gigs regularly in multiple areas including Middle Tennessee, Central Pennsylvania, North Texas, and South Miami. She's helped kick off Music for Everyone's Keys to the City program in Lancaster, has appeared three years in a row at the Launch Music Conference/Festival, and has had the honor to perform at The Bluebird Cafe since her move to Nashville. She's performed with many artists including John Splithoff, Jillian Dawn, M'Lynn, Orlando Mendes, and Alyce.

 

Ali has also started pursing her interest in music direction and arranging. She's music directed multiple productions for Prima Theatre in Lancaster, PA including The Music of Queen & Journey and On the Naughty List. She's arranged for multiple productions including The Music of Queen & Journey, On the Naughty List, Here Comes the Sun, and Illumination.
